Canadian-born international performer Dail Platz played in the honky-tonks and bars of the North America for many years before making the move to Australia. At home on guitar, fiddle, mandolin and banjo, he meticulously researched the styles, personalities and backgrounds of both Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson and is totally convincing in the dual roles of these legendary artists.

Since arriving Downunder, Dail has criss-crossed the country, performing at countless venues. He is literally a font of knowledge on not just The Highwaymen but on all aspects of North American culture and music and it is this familiarity with his subject matter that really adds that final touch of authenticity to The Highwaymen Tribute Show.
